December on Facebook!

December 6: Watching The Today Show with Ava and hearing her little commentary is becoming the highlight of my mornings :) She REALLY does not care for Al! She cracks me up!

December 10: Loving listening to my little girl sing, "It was the best day EVER!!!" Think the birthday party was a success. Now, to convince my husband to buy us a bouncy house!

December 19:
Feliz Navidad just came on and Lily goes, " Yay! A Dora song!"

December 20:
Six years ago today, I went into labor with my sweet Lily Bear and our lives changed forever. Four years ago today, I had no idea that the next day (Lily's second birthday), our lives would change again and we would welcome Miss Ava Rose into the world. Can't believe my girls are going to be another year older tomorrow!

November on Facebook

November 1: 30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 1: So incredibly thankful for my three beautiful, though sometimes crazy and ALWAYS dramatic, baby girls :)

November 2:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 2: My oldest friend, Miss Toni! Had so much fun walking and chit chatting with her this morning!

November 3:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 3: Today, I am thankful for my amazing husband, Nathan. He makes me absolute crazy, but he also makes me happier than anyone else in the world can. His dedication and self discipline are such an inspiration and blessing to our family. He's an amazing dad to our girls and a great husband! I am truly blessed to have found him and I thank God for choosing him as my husband :) Love you, Babe!

November 4:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 4: Today, I am simply thankful I did not fall off the ladder while I was painting our living room yesterday!

November 5:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 5: My baby brother! Had so much fun getting into a finger animal fight with you yesterday (yes, we're still like 5)! You have grown into quite an amazing young man, Elijah Z Worz and I am so proud of you! You are such a sweet uncle and such a blessing in my girls' lives. You are always such a big help to me! Love you, Yijah Woe! Oh, and don't let this go to your head, you already think you're awesome enough without me telling you!

November 6:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 6: Mandie Welter Stam, you made the list! And, not because you told me should! You have been an awesome friend the last year or so and probably the main reason I was finally able to loose the 30 pounds I wanted to get rid of! You keep me laughing and, quite frequently, blushing! So, there you are, you made it before day 30! Not that the order of these things matter ;)

November 7:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 7: I have been trying to think of something other than the people in my life to be thankful for, but there are just so many wonderful people I am blessed to call my friends and family! So, today I am thankful for all of my amazing family. I am so blessed to have a great relationship with my parents. They are all such incredible grandparents, too! Both my brothers keep me laughing and are the best uncles ever! They are all so wonderful to my children and bring so much love and happiness to their lives. Jeannie Adkins Worz, John Worz, Ian Worz, Elijah Z Worz, Harry Russo, and Tara Jalazo today I am thankful for all of you!

November 8:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 8: Today, I am thankful for my house. I really, really love our home. After 7 years in apartments (4 of them in University housing, blech), I am thankful every day for the beautiful home and neighborhood we were blessed to find. We also have the best neighbors we could ever ask for!

November 9:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 9: My neighbor's awesome Datil Pepper Jelly. About the most amazing thing I have ever eaten! Yummmm!

November 10:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 10: Today, I am thankful Michaela Scales. She has been working with us at training our little puppy! Having him be a better behaved little guy is a huge blessing! I was regretting getting a dog right after we got him, but now that Miss Michaela has shown us what to do with him, he is such a joy! Thank you, Michaela!
November 11: 30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 11: Thankful for all our Veterans, and our current military personnel and their families! I was blessed this past year to get to know an army wife, Emily Puckett, and she gave me a new understanding of what the families of those in uniform go through! It's an amazing sacrifice those serving our countries make, but it's also an amazing sacrifice their loved ones make! Without all of you, we would live in a very different country!

November 12:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 12: Today, I am thankful for all my nieces and nephews! Katherine Nemecek and Caroline Nemecek, I love reading all your silliness on facebook! You have grown into such amazing and beautiful young women in the last 9 years! You scare the crud out of me, too, because one day, my daughters will be teenagers...Courtney and Corissa, you are such sweeties! I have loved watching you grow from little tiny girls into such sweet fun kids! Aubrey Suzanne and Arianna Jubilee, you are so full of spunk! I can't wait to see the people you grow up to be! Lucas and sweet Baby Holden, let me just say good luck! With all these girls, you boys are in for it ;)

November 13:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 13: Today, I am thankful for all the good and bad things that have happened in my life to get me to where I am today. The good, because, they were good and amazing and brought happiness. The bad, because even though they brought sadness and grief, they made me stronger and shaped the person I am today.

November 14:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 14: Thankful for my faith. Without it, I would be truly lost. Went to a memorial today for a truly amazing man who was loved by so many people. I only hope I can touch the lives of a fraction of the people he touched, find an ounce of the faith he had.

November 15:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 15: Thankful for a slow lazy day at home with a couple of sick little girls. It's no fun that they are sick, but I do love a lazy day at home with my kiddos! Think we may have to curl up on the couch and watch a movie :)

November 16:
30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 16: Today, I am thankful for air conditioning. What is the deal with this weather? Seriously, it's November!

November 17:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 17: Thankful for my Ava Bug. She can be crazy emotional, but she keeps me laughing. Such a unique little person! Love her little thoughts :) Can't wait to see who she grows up to be!

November 18:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 18: I am thankful for all the amazing mothers in my life. My own mom, Jeannie Adkins Worz. My wonderful sisters-in law and mother-in-law. The amazing Gainesville MOPS moms, without whom I don't think I would have survived dental school! My amazing mommy friends! You are all such a blessing to me! You keep me encouraged and hopeful and remind me why we were crazy enough to have children...and keep having them!

November 19:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 19: Thankful for cold medicine. Being sick sucks!

November 20:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 20: Thankful that I am feeling better just in time for Nathan to go back to work tomorrow!

November 21: 30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 21: Thankful for the love my little girls have for one another. It is the greatest thing in the world seeing them give each other hugs and kisses!

November 22:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 22: The upcoming holidays! Looking forward to time with family, good food, maybe some cooler weather...

November 24:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 23 and Day 24: Thankful for my husband's roach killing prowess and his tolerance of my very girly screams when the aforementioned pest is in my general vicinity. Also, thankful for the yummy food coming our way later today! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

November 25:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 25: Thankful for more delicious food and good times with friends and family! One more Thanksgiving celebration to go!

November 26:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 26: Thankful for the upcoming Christmas season and the chance to decorate our house!

November 27:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 27: Thankful for Mandie Welter Stam making me get up and run today! Needed to burn off some that Thanksgiving food. Love you, girl, but I think my legs will be hating you tomorrow!

November 28:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 28: Thankful for the health of my family! Everyone is finally over their colds! No more runny noses! Yay!!!

November 29:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 29: My little Ava's sense of humor. She just goes, "Ugh, I don't like that guy!" when Al Roker came on the TV. When I asked her why, she said, "Because he is bald! And, the only boy I like is Daddy!"

November 30:
30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 30: Today, I am thankful for clean underwear ;)

August on Facebook

August 4: Dear Thursday, We have had a rough week. Could you please not throw anymore craziness our way? That'd be great. Thanks.

August 15:
Love hearing about new babies coming into the world. There is just something special about knowing there is a new life out there joining their family :) Congrats to Rebecca, Jake, and Grant Tillman!

August 16:
Quote of the Day: Lily: "Emma knows stuff."

August 18:
Love watching Lily getting frustrated while trying to rationally explain to Emma why she should give her the Wii remote. Love watching Emma's little one year old self totally not care about her big sister's very rational argument :)

August 22:
Lily completed her first day of kindergarten and even rode the bus home! She is getting so big :)

August 30:
Had a big scare this afternoon. A dresser toppled over and almost landed on top of Ava Bug. Thanking God she is okay and that Emmie wasn't in the bedroom with her sisters. Needless to say, all the dressers are firmly attached to the walls now. There will be no more falling furniture in this house!

July on Facebook

July 4: "Beware of hurry. Beholding glory begs for lingering." --John Piper. A friend posted this quote and it made me think of Ava. She has got that lingering thing down, but I would be willing to believe she beholds a lot more glory than those of us running around!

July 21:
Big day in our house! Lily discovered her first loose tooth and it came out all in the same day! We will be getting our first visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight!

June on Facebook

June 13: Crazy baby just took her first three wobbly steps! She's not even standing well yet, so it was quite an accomplishment!

June 24:
Baby Girl is officially turning one in about five minutes :) Happy Birthday to my sweet little Emmaline!

May on Facebook

May 8: Watching home videos of my girlies from a couple years ago. Cannot believe how small they were! Makes me want to freeze Emmie right where she is! Can't imagine there will eventually be a day when I do not have a toddler or baby to take care of...a very bitter-sweet thought. Will definitely have to remember to slow down and enjoy them :)

May 12:
Emmie just stood by herself! The funny thing is that she didn't even realize she was doing it...One step closer to having another little toddler :)

May 17:
"Baby poop photos: What's normal, what's not?" Really, Baby Center? Ya really think that's what I was after when I signed up for your emails? Poop pictures? As though there is not enough of the real thing in my house already...

May 24:
While listening to Ava play, I overheard her making one of her dolls say, "I'm not a baby, I'm a human!" Apparently, in Ava World, babies are a totally different species :) Wonder what that makes Emmie?

May 25:
So fun seeing Carey Nemecek, Nick, and Sweet Aubrey last night! We need to get together more often :)

April on Facebook

April 1: Having ice cream for breakfast to remember a special little boy who has inspired so many to live their lives feeling more loving, more thoughtful, more thankful, more blessed. Enjoying our "E" moments!

April 11:
Em is getting right in the middle of the crazy play with her sisters! I think she must have a least 10 little guardian angels keeping her from getting squished! But, she sure is having a good time :)

March on Facebook

March 2: Ava did it. I knew she'd be the one. She cut her hair. Of course, it was the day after I had cut it, so now, she has two large spots of hair that are cut above her ears. Hoping to get her in to see Miss Kym soon, so she can get it fixed up. Thinking a longish pixie cut is our only real option. Poor thing was so upset once she realized what she'd done :(

March 5: We've got forward mobility! Oh no, here we go. Watch out world, here comes Emmie!

March 6: After being puked on twice (by two different kids, Em can't take all the credit!), think my touch pad on my laptop may be dying. My arrow is blinking like a strobe light...not a good sign.

March 7: Daddy is leaving for a ten day trip tomorrow. Sooooo not looking forward to it :( Not sure if I can survive all the preschooler drama all by myself!

March 10: Eight days to go. I am finding a new respect for all you mommas who have hubbies who travel a lot or are military families. Don't know how y'all find the energy to get through it! I'm on day three with no hubs and am just about wiped...

March 11: Yay for mommies! Especially my mommy who is coming to give me a break today :)

March 13: Ah, sleep is a wonderful thing :)

March 14: Is it Friday yet?

March 15: My daughter just informed me that she likes to touch bums (as in butts, not hobos). Wondering if I should be concerned...Oh, now she has clarified that she only likes to touch Ava's bum. Not sure that is any better :P

March 17: A house full of sickies. Praise God that Daddy will be home tomorrow!

March 18: Daddy's coming home today! Yay!!!!!!

March 20: My little rug bug is already pulling up and thinks she can stand. May not be too long until we have a little walker!

March 29: Think I am being punished by my children today...we left them with Grammy for four days (who was so mean, what with the letting them eat whatever and playing with them all the time). I am so paying for it today ;)

February on Facebook

February 2: Cannot believe how big my baby girl is getting. Where did the last 7 months go? Her first birthday is just around the corner and I absolutely can't believe it!

February 7:
Icky, nasty rainy day is killing my productivity. Really just want to sit on my couch and watch TV...or, even better, sit on my couch and read a book while I listen to the rain...alas, the laundry awaits :(

February 8:
Just got my first Blurb book! It is a book full of the first year of my blog! I LOVE it! So excited! All of you momma bloggers out there have got to do this! So much easier that a baby book :)

February 14:
Both girls are sitting on the floor whispering in Em's ears. Emmie just looks confused, but her sisters are cracking themselves up! Wonder what secrets they are telling her...

February 15:
Well, I officially have a backwards crawler. Em is all over the place, but just has not figured out how to go forward yet :)

February 21:
Grrrr. That's it. Just, grrrr.

February 22:
Watching my two littlest play. So sweet. Makes me happy Em is finally warming up to her big sister Ava. Only took her eight months to adjust to Ava's craziness!

February 23:
Ava just dragged Em across the room by her ankles. Em LOVED it! Think we have found a new game :) Definitely won't help with that bald spot on the back of her head, though...

February 25:
My little rug bug is getting a work out tonight! She still does not crawl forward, but she is getting around though a series of rolls, scoots, and other crazy moves :)

February 28:
Think the pedal on my sewing machine is dead :( So much for finishing Emmie's quilt today. On a positive note, it is National Tooth Fairy Day, so Happy Tooth Fairy Day, everyone!

January on Facebook

January 2: Poor Emmie is working so hard on crawling! If she could just figure out how to get her arms and legs to work together instead of just spazzing out :) She looks more like she is trying to swim.

January 3:
Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone! I had an awesome day :)

January 5:
In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die, but where you invest your love, you invest your life.

January 10:
Ava just told me I am freaky. Where did she even learn the word freaky?

January 11:
Love reading my nieces' FB statuses. They are such fun girls. They remind me of how fun it was to be a teenager...they also remind me that in the not so distant future, I will be the mother of teenage girls...which is a scary thought!

January 18:
Had so much fun hanging with sweet Miss Aubs today :)

January 21:
Ava is watching the Today show with me and they are looking at the dresses from the Golden Globe Awards and how people can buy cheaper versions to wear. One of the outfits, the cheap version, they said was $1800 and Ava goes, "$18! That's $18!" as though she cannot believe anyone would pay that much :) Silly girl. She's cracking me up with all her opinions on the dresses, too:)

January 23:
Happy Birthday to the best hubby and daddy these girls could ask for! We love you, Nathan!

January 24:
The middle one has already peed on the floor, the baby has already been put back to bed, and my shirt is covered in pears. It's barely 9:00. Thinking this is gonna be a heck of a day :( At least my big girl is being sweet :)

January 27:
So, I just looked over and Ava was riding Emmie. As in sitting on her back and riding her. Amazingly, Em wasn't crying...Can't say it is the first time I have had to tell one of my girls to stop riding their sister!

January 27:
I'm down to one sleeping baby. How did I swing that?

January 31:
The Channel 12 Weather man keeps saying "spritzle" and it is really bothering me...

Deember on Facebook

December 2: Would someone kindly explain to Emma that 2:30 is not the time we get up from our afternoon nap? She is about an hour early.

December 3:
The cold weather is making me want to just burrow into a nice warm blanket and stay there all day! Unfortunately, my children have other plans :)

December 6:
has a sick little Ava Bug :( But, on a positive note, Emmie is offically sitting up! Not rolling over yet, but sitting up :)

December 7:
So cold...I am such a lightweight...good thing I live in FL...except, it's actually not that much warmer here right now :(

December 9:
Got a pool table last night and, it is absolutely hilarious how excited my husband is about it.

December 10:
Knows the Ava Bug must not be feeling so great when she agrees that she needs to go take a little nap. Poor little thing :(

December 10:
LOL! Lily just got spit-up on. Her reaction was awesome. She must have jumped 5 feet high!

December 11:
Just had the rainbow birthday party ever for my sweet girls! It was so much fun! Now, time to get ready for the office Christmas party! Busy, busy!

December 12:
Ava is feeling a little dramatic today. "You never listen to me, Lily! No body listens to me!"

December 14:
Can someone please tell me why Emma is soooo mad at her bottle?

December 16:
Thinking of a special family today. Lots of thoughts and prayers going out to Rebecca, Jake, and Grant Tillman.

December 16:
Ava: "A" is for me!

December 18:
Starting to get the throat drip. Ick. Please, don't let me be sick for Christmas!

December 19:
Hehehe...I have a silly hubby :)

December 19:
My super duper, uber cute, and just all around awesome niece is one today! Happy birthday sweet Miss Aubrey! And congrats to her parents for making it through the first year!

December 22:
For those of you who watch the Imagination Movers - Lily: I think Warehouse Mouse is a stuffed animal...or, maybe, a baby in a suit.

December 23:
So proud of my Ava Bug. She told us yesterday that since she was three she could sleep at night without a diaper and not have any accidents. She did it!

December 27:
So glad I took the time to sit and snuggle all three kids and the hubs while watching Despicable Me. So silly to think I should be cleaning instead of loving on those sweet little things :)

December 30:
Lots of sick girls around here...this one included. Let me just say ugh...

December 31:
Goodbye to a very crazy year! We graduated dental school, welcomed a new baby, bought our first house, Lily started school, and Nate started his career! Whew! I am tired just thinking of all that craziness! Hoping for a slightly less eventful year in 2011 :)

November on Facebook

November 2: Just watched Toy Story 3 with the Ava Bug. Love the way they ended it :)

November 7:
Stomach Bug (thankfully, not for me or Emmie, yet) + staying up late painting + kids who do not get the whole "fall behind" time change thing = one tired momma :)

November 11:
So, is it bad that since we painted it, the laundry room has become one of my favorite rooms in my house? It almost makes me want to do laundry more :)

November 12:
Loving the Irish chocolates that one of Nathan's patients brought him...from Ireland. He must be one heck of a dentist for someone to be in Ireland and go, "Hey, I'm gonna get these to bring to my dentist." :)

November 12:
Grrrr...emergency patient is going to make the hubs late for the first night out we've had in...well, I'm not really sure how long, but a really long time! I guess on the bright side, he will be making a little extra cash, so he will be more willing to buy me dinner :)

November 15:
Just occurred to me that I need to get a serious move on Christmas shopping if I want to avoid the December craziness in the stores! Wow, I am sooo not on top of things this year!

November 24:
My Emmie is 5 months old today! Can't believe how fast that went by!

November 29:
Still rocking from the cruise :) We all had a fun time and watching my two youngest eat their weight in food was truly a sight to see!

November 29:
So thankful for my hubby who just helped Lily get a Polly Pocket shoe out of her nose...yes, you read that right.

October on Facebook

October 4: Oh, the drama...oh, the drama...

October 5:
Thinking Emmie is finally figuring out that a "nap" means you have to actually stay asleep longer than like 30 minutes! Yay!

October 5:
Icky! Icky Icky! So almost had a giant banana spider land on me while we were taking out the trash! Ugh! Now, I feel like I have spiders crawling all over me!

October 6:
The windows are open. The giggle girls are outside playing sweetly with each other while Miss Emmie is napping. It is a positively beautiful day! I am feeling like an exceptionally blessed woman!

October 11:
Home again, home again. Jiggity. Jiggity. Made it back from the ADA meeting in one piece. Also, learned that Emma is not a good baby to travel with...beginning to dread that cruise with her in Nov.

October 12:
Checked out a MOPS group here in town today. Kind of disappointed that it is not really what I was hoping for...and, missing my Gainesville girls something fierce..

October 21:
So tired...been a long couple of days. Looking forward to a great garage sale adventure on Saturday with some of my favorite people :)

October 23:
Ava: "If you're necked, you can't make messes."

October 25:
Emmie turned 4 months old yesterday! Can't belive how big she is getting!

October 27:
Talk about a great Daddy! My husband is currently feeding the baby while playing Wii basketball with our oldest. What a man!

October 27:
While watching me take a picture of Emma, Ava grabbed her play camera, pressed the button, then looked at me and said, "Yours doesn't make music."

October 28:
Just remembered why I haven't put a lot of effort into cooking lately...cooked a yummy meal, and the hubs is detained at work an extra hour. Well, I enjoyed it anyway :) Hopefully, it will still taste good when he gets to eat it...

September on Facebook

September 8: Finally feels like we are getting into some sort of routine. Emmie has been waking up happy in the morning (love hearing baby coos on the monitor). Lily has been LOVING school. Ava Bug is...well, she is the middle child and just going along with everybody else's stuff :) But, she sure is sweet and cute while doing it!

September 14:
Thinking about training for and doing a 1/2 marathon...also thinking I have officially lost my mind :)

September 17:
Just found acorns in my washer...ahhh, my little Ava Bug...

September 20:
Think Emmie must be going through a growth spurt. She slept for like 4 hours straight, woke up and ate 7 oz of formula and has now conked back out.

September 22:
Got Lily and Ava's room and closet painted! Yay! They are so super excited about their new pink room :)

September 24:
Ava is singing Paramore's "Only Exception." Too funny :)

August on Facebook

August 2: Can not believe it's August! Where did the time go!

August 5:
Feeling stressed and overwhelmed today...think it is due in part to a distinct lack of coffee so far. Yes, that is definitely a contributing factor. At least it is one that can be easily remedied!

August 6:
Emma gave us six consecutive hours of sleep last night! Hoping it was not a fluke and that we are on our way to a full night's sleep sometime soon :)

August 9: Been married to my hubby 7 years today! What a ride it has been! We've lived in three different cities, graduated from college, had three beautiful little girls, made it through dental school, bought our first house and so much more! Can't wait to see what's next! Love you, Nathan!

August 9: Had a great date night with the hubby. Yummy Fajita Nachos for dinner, walk on the beach down in Crescent Beach (made me miss all my Zone 6 folks from back in the day!), and Cold Cow for desert! Stellar Coffee and Raspberry Chocolate Truffle ice cream, yum!

August 10:
Lily and Ava up at 3:30 + Emma up at 4:30 + not being able to turn my brain off and fall back asleep, even though I was exhausted, until close to 5:30= Movie Day at the Nemecek house. Yay, for the Toy Story movies I got on Ebay coming in last night :)

August 10:
So, when I was putting Ava's diaper on for her nap, she starts going, "Peace and quiet. Peace and quiet. Peace and quiet." Really? She think she's the one who needs peace and quiet?

August 12:
Just got to talk to our friends Madison and Kim on Skype! It was so nice to see them! And, really funny watching two 4 year olds and a 2 year old use Skype!

August 23:
Big week for us this week. Emmie is officially sleeping through the night (8.5 to 9 solid hours, let me just say WOOHOO) and turns two months old tomorrow and my Lily Bear starts VPK tomorrow! It will be so weird having her gone all day for two days a week, but I think Ava will enjoy the one on one time :)

August 25:
Finds it amazing how Emma can go from blood-curdling-OMG-my-life-is-ending screams to complete serene sleep and back to the aforementioned screams without missing a beat. She is not a happy camper right now. Boo for shots :(

July on Facebook

July 7: Finally, we have the internet! Yay!

July 8:
Can't believe Emmaline is two weeks old today! Man, that went by quick!

July 8:
Baby girl smells like pooh...dare I wake a sleeping baby an hour before she should eat to change her stinkiness? Hmmm...I'm gonna go with no. It obviously isn't bothering her, right?

July 9:
Ava, Lily and Baby Cousin Aubrey are all watching Baby Neptune. Too cute :)

July 11:
Emmaline has sisters kissing her on both sides...she looks scared to death :) She better get used to it, though!

July 12:
I have gotten nothing productive done yet today...and, it's been kind of nice :)

July 16:
Amazed at how my G-ville MOPS mommas are still such a support and blessing! I miss you girls! Thank you all for your advice and encouragement! And, Pidge, thank you for putting your sweet Carrie in touch with me! I will be emailing her back this afternoon :)

July 19:
It's suppossed to "feel like" 100 degrees today! Yikes! Boy, am I thankful for our shady neighborhood today :)

July 19:
Well, after struggling to put on weight at first, Emmaline is officially a little chunk. She is 3 1/2 weeks and weighs 8 lbs 12 oz. She put on 14 oz in 1 week! I wish I could contribute it all to Momma Milk, but maybe now that she is gaining better, I will be able to cut back on the formula...

July 19:
Lily's Song: " Everybody's smart! Everybody's smart! But sometimes you're not. Sometimes you're not. Soooometiiiiimes yooouuuurrr'eeee NOT! Pizza, pizza, PIZZAAAA!"

July 20:
Got all Lily and Ava's clothes put away. Ava went up a size in clothes and shoes since we moved. It was fun unpacking the next size clothes for her (Lily's old stuff), it made me remember when Lil was Ava's age and Ava was a baby. Now, we have sweet Emma and all new adventures!

June on Facebook

June 3: Three weeks 'til Baby Kicker (guess we need to come up with a name, huh?). Closing on the house next Friday instead of tomorrow thanks to Vystar not being on top of things. Nate starts work on Monday. Lots more craziness in the next few weeks :)

June 3:
For those who are interested, I have been trying to update the blog. I have gotten all my posts from April up (I know, I way behind), so you have to scroll down a bit to get to them. Will be working on May and June tomorrow :) The link is on my FB profile page if you are interested. Thanks!

June 6:
6 days until we close. 18 days until Baby Kicker...that means I will have a maximum of 12 days to get our house livable. Looking forward to the challenge :)

June 8:
Soooo...Nate just called and told me we cannot close this Friday thanks yet again to Vystar's stupidity. We are pushing it back another week. Which puts it a mere 6 days before Baby Kicker is scheduled to arrive. Prayers, please. For optimism, a positive attitude, sanity, patience, cooperative children...

June 9:
Kicker has a sense of humor... we ended up in L&D last night because I was having regular contractions. All I could think was, she would choose the day we find out we are going to be without a home for another week to come! Thankfully, it was just dehydration and a UTI, so they were able to calm things down with some meds and LOTS of IV fluids. Poor Nathan only got like 5 hours of sleep. Sorry, Babe...

June 10:
is loving listening to my girls play mommy. It is reminding me why I am enduring all this discomfort to have another one :) They are such an incredible gift.

June 11:
The girls are going to be so spoiled once we move into our house. Mimi reads to them every night and right now they are having an absolute blast wrestling and beating up on their Grandad with their Tinkerbell dolls.

June 14:
Ava - "I like cheese. Cheese is good. Cheese is for mouses and kids!"

June 15:
So beyond ready to go to sleep...the two infants and five other adults hanging out in the room I am sleeping in (a.k.a. my in-laws family room) are, however, making that thouroughly impossible...I am thankful for my MIL and FIL's kindness, but I am so ready to be in my own space...

June 16:
Last doc appt. before Baby Kicker today...still not sure we are closing on Friday. Eight days left until we meet our newest addition. Could use lots of prayers for patience and sleep :)

June 16:
Did not realize what a podunk town St. Auggie still is until I tried to google a Chinese restaurant to deliver and can't find a single one that actually delivers...at least not that has a website. Gainesville sure spoiled us when it comes to take out!

June 17:
Kids were up at 6:00, got in bed with me and then proceeed to go back to sleep until 9:30! Think those prayers for sleep are working :) And, it was so nice to wake up next to my sleeping cuties. Great way to start our day!

June 17:
Not looking like we will be closing tomorrow. Trying not to think about it...don't want to end up back in L&D...

June 18:
VyStar FINALLY got their act together and we should be closing sometime early next week! BEFORE Baby Kicker arrives (as long as she stays on schedule)! Thank you for all the prayers and support over the last few weeks!

June 19:
Just got back from the Wal-Mart trip from HELL! Ava decided it was a good idea to just sit down on the floor while we were checking out and pee everywhere...thankfully, the guy behind us had kids, so it was slightly less embarassing. But, I will never be taking them in there ever again! How am I gonna survive with three?

June 21:
Just dropped Lily off at her first day of VBS. On the way home, I asked Ava what we should do since it was just the two and she said, "Well, what are the options?" Yeah, she's two...

June 22:
It's official! We close at 2pm tomorrow! Will give us a little over 12 hours to work on the house before we head to the hospital to have Baby Kicker (I promise she will have a name next time I post about her)! WooHoo!

June 24:
We welcomed our newest edition, Baby Emmaline Violet (Emma), this morning at 7:57am. She weighed in at 8lbs 3oz and was 18.5 inches long. She is a little chunk! Mom and baby are doing well! Thank you for all your prayers!

May on Facebook

May 2: So, we're thinking we got the house since a title company contaacted our realtor to find out what mortgage company we are using...um, well, we haven't picked one yet, seeing as they never bothered to tell us they accepted out offer :) Hopefully, we will get a more solid answer tomorrow!

May 5:
Another sinus headache day...thinking I may have to break down and actually call the doc...

May 5: Stress...stress...stress...STRESS!

May 5: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29: 11 - 13

May 7:
Everyone up until 11:30 + kids up at 7:00 = very cranky Lily and very unhappy mommy.

May 7:
No more complaining, no more stressing. Just going to have a good day. No. Matter. What!

May 8:
Anyone looking to rent out a 2 or 3 bedroom house or condo in St. Augustine?

May 9:
Happy Mother's Day, Mommas!

May 10:
Nate has 3 more days of clinic and then he is DONE! Yay!

May 11:
We got the house! Now, as long as everything goes smoothly, we should be homeowners by the end of the month! All that stress over nothing ;)

May 12:
It is officially Nate's last day of dental school! Cannot believe we are finally here! Thank you to everyone who has been such a support to us through the last four years!

May 14:
Soooo, turns out we did not get the house. Someone did not sign something by the right date and we will be uneligible for the $8K tax return. Nate is going to see if we can salvage things, but it does not look good...

May 15:
Okay, so we officially have money in escrow. I am not saying "we got the house" again until the keys are in my hands, but it is looking positive :) I am at least not hunting for rentals!

May 16:
Went to Nathan's Senior Banquet last night. He was give three awards One for showing skill in equilibration (not going to try to explain), one for clinical excellence and professionalism, and one for being the most promising general dentist in his class! I am so proud of him! And we had a great time, thanks Marcia and Walt for keeping the girls!

May 17:
The newest name Lily has suggested for Baby Girl #3 is Glitter. Hmmmm...not so sure about that one :)

May 19:
Making our last trip into Gainesville today! By Saturday we will be gone! So crazy!

May 20:
So much to do! Gotta get through the next couple of days and we will have a week or so to recouperate! Beach, pool, relaxing, here we come!

May 21:
Graduation Day! Cannot believe we are here. Nathan has been working towards today our entire marriage, really, our entire relationship and then some! I am so proud of him for finally reaching his goal! Congratulations, Baby! We love you!

May 22:
Well, I am officially married to a dentist! Yay! Last day in G-vill today! Good-bye everyone! It's been fun :)

May 24:
Crazy night...coffee will be a necessity today :)

May 24:
Lily: "Daddy, tomorrow, I am going to have a hypothesis."

May 25:
Thirty days and we will be meeting Baby Kicker...can't wait to hold her :)

May 26:
Just found out we should be able to close on the house next Friday! WooHoo! Now, we are just praying everything goes smoothly until then :)

May 30:
Desperately trying to update the blog, but the internet is running absurdly slow...grrr...

April on Facebook

April 1st: Alright, MOPS group, who is coming to our MNO tonight? Do Art at 6:00. Bring a snack to share :)

April 1st:
We gave our 45 day notice yesterday! Can't believe we are moving that soon...now, to find a house...oh, and I may need to get packing some more boxes...

April 5th: Mmmmm...peach strawberry smoothie and sharing ham lunchables with the girls. All is right with the world ;)

April 5th: feels like my head is going to explode. I so cannot get sick right now...

April 6th: Just thoroughly disappointed my four year old when I told her that her How to Train Your Dragon toy from McD's does not really shoot fireballs. That only happens in the commercial. The funniest part of this to me is that she actually thought I would give her a toy that shot fireballs!

April 11th:
Looked at an awesome house today. Think we are goingto put in an offer tomorrow. Cross your fingers for us :) I really want this one!

April 14th:
I think my head is going to explode...one of my least favorite pregnancy symptoms I have been blessed with during all my pregnancies: constant congestion that causes sinus headaches. And, yeah, Tylenol does nothing...fun. Hoping my girls will go easy on me today.

April 15th:
Yay! No headache! Guess that means I actually need to be productive today :)

April 15th:
So, I just read my little weekly pregnancy update thing and it said we have 77 days (which will really be closer to 65 with my c-section) before Baby Kicker comes. 65 days! We still have to pack, move, buy a house, move in to a house, get Nate graduated and started working and we only have 65 days!?!?!? Okay...breathe, breathe...

April 18th:
Still waiting to hear about the house. Expecting a counter-offer on Tuesday and Wednesday and I guess we'll just see from there...

April 20th:
is overwhelmed.

April 21st:
Love listening to my girls chit-chat with each other before bed. So sweet :)

April 23rd:
Could be welcoming anther niece into the world this weekend. We shall see. If nothing else, she is making her momma super uncomfortable.

April 23rd:
My poor SIL is still laboring. She has been having contractions for 43 hours now.

April 24th:
The newest Baby Nemecek has arrived. Marc and Jillian welcomed their baby girl into the world at 6:40 this morning. She was 8 lbs 10 oz, but still has no name, yet :)

April 25th:
We just had hail at our house!

April 29th:
"My cheese stick has cheese on it!" - said with a very sad and upset face by Ava Rose.

April 30th:
is thoroughly enjoying a chocolate croissant and frappacino. Kid free might I add (other than the little wiggle worm residing in my abdomen), not sure how I swung that, but I am sure going to enjoy it! Probably be the last time for at least a year!

March on Facebook

Saw this on another blog and thought it would be a fun thing to try to do monthly since I am using FB more and more these days :)

March 4th: Soooo, Lily plays Happy Aquarium and sent bunch of you messages in a bottle today. Yeah, Lily can't read...or type a message for that matter. Sorry for the gibberish everyone :)

March 11th:
So, Lily decided to go to bed an hour early rather than eat her dinner...it's not like I was trying to feed her liver and onions or something, either! She is her daddy's daughter...

March 12th:
Nate has his first day of State Boards today! Please, keep him your prayers. He was super stressed out last night, but I know he will do great!

March 13th:
There is definitly something wrong with being up before 7:00 on a Saturday when you have no plans, just noisy children and a stressed out, anxious hubby...

March 13th:
Just found two baby doves in a plant on our deck. We have seen the momma coming and going for a few weeks, but assumed there might only be eggs! Very cool discovery! The girls thought they were "so cute!"

March 14th:
Second (and last) day of boards for Nate! Can't wait for this to be over!

March 14th:
Nate is done! Yay! We hear back tomorrow about how he did, but he says he thinks he did well!

March 15th:
Nate PASSED! Yay! With flying colors, might I add :) Not that I had any doubt in my mind he would, but it sure is nice to have my not stressed out hubby back! It's all down hill from here! Now, the house hunt can begin! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers over the last few days!

March 16th:
A great example of my children's moods today: Ava saw the Glad commercial and grabbed on to the "Don't get mad, get glad" phrase. Lily, on the other took the phrase and made it "Don't get glad, get mad!" She is in quite the stinky mood...

March 16th:
Just finished packing our first few boxes! So exciting!

March 17th:
Lily projectile vomiting (all over my laptop, might I add) last night and a bike rider screaming at me when I took Nate to school this morning for hitting my brakes so I didn't run into another car who was hitting their brakes. Oh the joys. Did I mention how much I hate the people on bikes in G-ville? Won't miss them, that's for sure.

March 17th:
So sweet. Went in to check on my girls and found Ava snuggled up beside Lily in Lily's bed. We think she sneaks in after Lily falls asleep. She loves her Sissy so much:)

March 23rd:
Watching Pete's Dragon with the girlies. So much better than, oh most everything on Nick or Disney. No more Dora, PLEASE!

March 24th:
In Atlanta for the weekend with the hubs and inlaws for a dental meeting and some shopping. So much fun and a much needed Mommy Break! Thank you Vash, Carey, and, especially, Mom for making us able to come by taking the girlies off our hands!

March 28th:
Is happy to be home with my girls! It is always nice to have a break, but I miss them to death after a couple hours of being gone :)

March 28th:
Thinking of and praying for the Tillman family who lost their little "E" a year ago today. Makes me thankful for every second God gives me with my girls, even the hard ones.

March 29th:
My girls are fighting over clothes. Thought I had at least another 10 years before they would be arguing over who gets to wear a certain skirt...guess not :)

March 30th:
Bob the Builder is seriously boring...but, my girls are enjoying. Guess I will go do dishes...
